31^st World Minorities’ Rights Day was hosted by West Bengal Minorities' Commission on 18^th December, 2023 (Monday) at 2:30 p.m. at the Auditorium Hall, 7^th Floor, Khadyasree Bhavan, Food & Supplies Department, 11A, Mirza Ghalib Street, Kolkata- 700 087.

The Theme of the Programme was “Inclusion of Minorities is Vital for Sustainable Democracy”.

• Chief Guest of the Programme was Janab Firhad Hakim, Hon'ble Mayor and Hon’ble MIC, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs.
• Guests of Honour was Janab Jawed Ahmed Khan, Hon'ble Minister, Disaster Management & Civil Defence and Janab Majeed Menon, Ex- MP of Rajya Sabha from Maharastra.
• Special Guests were Janab Tajmul Hossain, Hon’ble MOS, Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department, Janab Ghulam Ali Ansari, IAS, Secretary, Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department and Janab P. B. Salim, IAS, Chairman, WBMDFC.
